For what purpose do we process your personal data?
In Mediterráneo Vida we process the information provided by the interested parties in order to be able to maintain and comply with your insurance contract in force.
Likewise, we will also process your data to keep you informed through different communication channels about issues related to our activity, sending you information about financial and insurance products and events organized by the company.
Finally, we will also process your data in order to comply with the regulations for the prevention of money laundering.
How long will we keep your data?
The data provided will be kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and will be deleted upon its termination.
Notwithstanding the above, the data will be blocked and retained for the period of limitation of actions that may arise from the contractual relationship you have entered into with Mediterráneo Vida.
Also, your data will be kept in order to comply with the regulations on prevention of money laundering for the period established in Law 10/2010 of April 28, 2010, on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.
What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?
The legal basis for the processing of your data is the consent given for the development and fulfillment of your insurance contract, according to the terms and conditions contained in the documents and contracts signed, as well as the legitimate interest for the remission of commercial information about our products and services. In the case of the prevention of money laundering, your data will be processed in order to comply with a legal obligation.
To which recipients will your data be communicated?
We inform you that your personal data may be transferred:
- To group entities for internal administrative purposes, as permitted by data protection regulations, as well as for the purpose of complying with the provisions of current legislation.
- To reinsurance companies.
- To the competent Public Bodies and Administrations, to Courts and Tribunals or to the State Security Forces and Corps in those cases required by current legislation.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Any person has the right to verify whether Mediterráneo Vida is processing personal data concerning him/her.
The data subject shall have the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time, provided that the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract in force to which the data subject is a party. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
