MEDVIDA acquires life insurance portfolios, be it through direct acquisitions, shareholdings, portfolio transfer or reinsurance, of insurance companies in Europe.
Our core business is managing long-term life insurance savings and annuities portfolios. By transferring these portfolios to MEDVIDA, insurers are, among other things, able to focus on core business lines, improve return on equity or optimise their risk profiles and capital consumption.

MEDVIDA started its life insurance business in 1989, underwriting and distributing life insurance business through a Spanish savings bank that was acquired by Banc Sabadell in 2012.
The company ceased writing new policies in 2014. In 2017, it was purchased by a consortium of institutional investors, after which the company became an independent life insurance consolidation business.
